On the 21st of December, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) celebrated his 47th birthday at the headquarters of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in Visakhapatnam.
Vijayasai Reddy, the Member of Parliament (MP) of the YSRCP, organised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday celebrations in Visakhapatnam.
During the birthday celebrations, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the YSRCP Government is planning to increase the number of districts from 13 to 25. Mr. Jagan further said the proposal to increase the number of districts was taken after considering the State Government’s decision to have 3 State capitals. Though an official announcement regarding the three capitals is yet to be made, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s statement hints the State Government would soon begin the development work in Kurnool, Amaravati and Visakhapatnam under the supervision of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA.)
In addition, Jagan Mohan Reddy said all the areas of the three proposed capitals would be developed equally with the help of decentralization of power.
Vijayasai Reddy, Avanti Srinivas and M.V.V. Satyanarayana were present during the celebrations, where Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also cut a cake.
