Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, wished the fishermen of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of World Fisheries Day, celebrated on the 21st of November.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “With the welfare schemes, we have shed new light in the fishing families and taking steps aiming at their welfare.”  He tweeted, “Today to this extent stating that many development programs have been initiated in Narasapuram.”

Notably, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit Narasapuram in the West Godavari district on the 21st of November, Monday.   During the Narasapuram tour, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would participate as the chief guest in the World Fisheries Day meeting.  The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) organised the event in Narasapuram.  At the event, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would lay the foundation stone for Andhra Pradesh Aqua University and Biyaputhippa Fishing Harbour. 

Furthermore, after Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the third Aqua University spread across 350 acres in the country is soon to be established in Andhra Pradesh’s Narasapuram region.  In this regard, the YSRCP Government would release an estimated cost of Rs. 332 crores.

In addition, the State Chief Minister would also launch many development programs and many inaugurations in the district.  Some of the projects include the construction of the Vashishta Godavari Bridge which is a long time wish of both Godavari districts at an estimated cost of Rs. 490 crores, a fishing harbour worth Rs. 429 crores, water grid project worth Rs. 1,400 crores, an electricity sub station worth  Rs. 133 crores, municipal water project worth Rs. 87 crores and construction of underground drainage in Narasapuram.
