Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 11th of January, launched the Jagananna Smart Township for Middle Class Income Groups (MIGs) in the State.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the scheme for underprivileged people and middle class people of urban and rural parts of the State. The first installment of the Jagananna Smart Township layout at Navalur near Mangalagiri, Guntur district, Dharmavaram in Anantapur district, Kandukur in Prakasam district, Rayachoti in Kadapa district, Kavali in Nellore district and Eluru in West Godavari district.
The layouts of all the regions were launched on the Jagananna Smart Township scheme website, virtually at the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Camp Office at Tadepalli.
According to sources, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister launched plots of 150, 200, 240 square yards as per the demand with all the permits and facilities.
Mr. Vijaya Krishnan, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Commissioner said that the applications and allocations for the land would be made online. He also clarified that all family members belonging to Andhra Pradesh with income below Rs. 18 lakh per annum are eligible to purchase plots from the Andhra Pradesh Government.
In addition, the Income Tax (IT) returns certifying income, Form 16, issued by the Tahsildar, is required to be submitted with a pay of 10% of the land value. The agreement would be made within the month followed by payment of 30%. The next 30 % would be paid in six months and the remaining is paid after a year or at the time of registration of the land.
