Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, would release the first instalment of the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme for 2022-2023.

On the 6th of May, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government made the announcement that, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would release the first tranche of investment assistance on the 15th of May.

In regard to this, the Andhra Pradesh Government would release the instalment amount of Rs.7,500 directly to the bank accounts of beneficiaries.  Approximately 48.77 lakh people have been identified as eligible for the scheme this year, of which 47.86 lakh are landowners and 91,000 are forest cultivators. 

Furthermore, the final list of eligible farmers for the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme would be displayed at the Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBK) on the 5th of May, evening.  The list would be displayed for social audit and the officials would consider objections from the public until the 8th of May.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the 15th of May 2021, launched the YSR Rythu Bharosa- PM’ Kisan Scheme, at the Tadepalli camp office in A.P.  The scheme was launched as an undertaking of the Andhra Pradesh Government to benefit the farmers of the State.  Under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, the beneficiaries would get Rs. 13,500 per year for agriculture purposes.  The scheme would benefit 49 lakh farmers in all the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, every year.  The money would be given to farmers in three instalments of Rs. 7,500, Rs. 4,000  and Rs. 2,000, respectively.
