Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is set to release the third tranche of the YSR Sunna Vaddi scheme, also known as the Zero Interest Loan scheme. The money for the third tranche of the scheme would be released on the 22nd of April, Friday in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh.
The YSR Zero Interest Loan scheme was an initiative under the regime of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan’s late father and the former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, (when Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were one state.) The new scheme would benefit approximately 93 lakh women belonging to 8.78 lakh Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA) associations in the State.
The State Government’s YSR Zero Interest Loan scheme would also help nearly 11.50 lakh, poor students of colleges, by paying their full fees.
On Friday, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President would visit Ongole and address a public meeting. In regard to this, Mr. K. Nageswara, the Additional Personal Secretary to the Chief Minister released an official schedule. As per the information, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would leave the Chief Minister’s residence, Tadepalli at 9:30 A.M., on the 22nd of April. From Tadepalli, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would leave in a special helicopter and would reach Ongole at 10:10 A.M. After reaching Ongole, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would attend an introductory event organised at the ABM Ground, located near Ongole Railway Station. Later Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit PVR Municipal Boys High School and inspect the stalls set up by the DWCRA group members on the premises.
At around 11:45 A.M., Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would address the public and would launch the third instalment of the scheme.
After the event, the YSRCP President Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would return to Tadepalli in the afternoon.
