The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government, on the 29th of January, decided to promote a few Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
Rajat Bhargav, Jawahar Reddy, Ananta Ramu and Pravin Kumar, who currently serve as principal secretaries, were promoted to special chief secretaries.
Jayalakshmi, Usharani and Ramgopal were promoted to principal secretaries of those serving as secretaries. Joint secretaries Mutyala Raju and Basantkumar were also promoted.
Besides, IAS officers Manjir Jilani and Tamim Ansaria from the Nagaland and Uttar Pradesh cadres respectively, were also transferred to Andhra Pradesh.
While Manjir Jilani was transferred as Additional Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VMRDA,) Tamim Ansaria was transferred as Additional Commissioner of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC.)
All the transfers which took place on the 29th of January would come into effect soon.
