YSRCP Government To Distribute House Sites To 1.10 Lakh Families In Prakasam

Pinipe Viswarup, the Social Welfare Minister and the incharge of Prakasam district, on the 29th of January, announced house sites would be distributed to 1.10 lakh families in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)

The administration of the district already started working on this and is expected to complete the distribution work by Ugadi.

The decision to do the same was taken during a meeting organised at the Collectorate in Ongole, A.P.

Ministers like Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Adimulapu Suresh and Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Ongole, attended the meeting.

A district development review committee meeting was held on the afternoon of the 29th of January.  After the meeting was concluded, all the members who participated in the meeting conducted a press conference and briefed the media about the discussions.

They also assured adequate water supply to the residents of the district, so there is no water scarcity during summer.

Pinipe Viswarup also spoke about the progress of work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS.)

The administration also forwarded a report, which was chalked out during the meeting, to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government, demanding funds worth Rs. 5,000 crores for resolving water issues.

The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government would soon act upon the given report, so the district administration begins the work.
