Tollywood actor turned politician Mr. Ali said, he would be ready to contest against Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the JanaSena Party.
On the 17th of January, Tuesday, Mr. Ali, a leader of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the Electronic Media Advisor of the Andhra Pradesh Government made a sensational comments. In an interview, Mr. Ali said, “Movies are different, politics are different. Ready to contest against Pawan Kalyan if CM Jagan orders.”
Mr. Ali added, Mr. Pawan Kalyan is his good friend, but movies and politics are different and if Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would ask him, he would contest against Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
Furthermore, expressing confidence in the YSRCP, Mr. Ali predicted that in the 2024 state Assembly elections, the party would win approximately 175 seats, making its comeback for a second time. In addition, if sources are to be believed, after the YSRCP would come to power, he would be given a seat in the Rajya Sabha and given an opportunity to become a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC.)
