After being criticised by Twitter users for disrespecting the tricolour, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) took action and rectified its mistake.
The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP suspended R. Prakash, the Secretary of the Tammadapalli Panchayat.
According to sources, a worker painted over a wall on which the National Flag was painted. The worker painted the wall blue, the colour of the YSRCP. The action was carried out under the supervision of R. Prakash, the Secretariat incharge of Tammadapalli village in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh.
After being heavily criticised for the move, the YSRCP repainted the wall white.
On the 30th of October, a video of the worker painting the wall blue went viral after Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) took to Twitter and slammed the YSRCP.
