Nagaraju, a Sarpanch candidate of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) filed a case against Kollu Ravindra.
On the 9th of February, Nagaraju alleged Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Kollu Ravindra of threatening him.
As per the reports, Mr. Nagaraju said Mr. Ravindra was threatening him and his life was in danger. Mr. Nagaraju filed the first information report (FIR) with the Machilipatnam Rural Police Station.
The police complaint came amid ongoing firs phase polls of the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Grama Panchayat elections.
The first phase of the panchayat elections is underway. The elections started from 6:30 A.M., and would continue till 3:30 P.M.
After the elections, the counting of votes would take place from 4:00 P.M., followed by declaration of results.
