The Andhra Pradesh Government is expected to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Winter session soon.
The Assembly session is scheduled to be held in the first week of December. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made.
The last Assembly session was conducted in June, which was the first Assembly session after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) came to power.
During the Assembly session held in June, the YSRCP discussed several issues and introduced several welfare schemes and bills and also announced the AP Budget.
A few major discussions which are expected to be a part of the AP Assembly’s Winter session are the sand policy and sand crisis in Andhra Pradesh. The issue of the State’s capital, which triggered a lot of criticism from the opposition parties and other new welfare schemes are also expected to be topics of discussion.
Apart from this, the YSRCP would also discuss seasonal diseases, the pending projects, new constructions and the Polavaram Project.
Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of the AP Assembly, would finalise the dates and announce the same in two-three days.
