Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 21st of June, reached Medigadda to attend the inauguration of the Kaleshwaram Project.
K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, welcomed Y.S. Jagan and took him to the site.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Anil Kumar Yadav and other senior leaders of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) also accompanied Jagan.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also attended the Jala Sankalpa Homam performed by KCR at the Medigadda barrage.
Started in 2016, the Kaleshwaram Project is finally going to be inaugurated today and will provide water for irrigation to the people of Telangana.
The project is said to be one of the most expensive irrigation projects, which will be dedicated to the Nation.
Initiated by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and worth Rs. 80,500 crores, the Kaleshwaram Project will benefit approximately 13 districts of Telangana.
E.S.L. Narasimhan, the Governor of Telangana, will inaugurate the Kaleshwaram Project.
