Bollywood actor and director Satish Chandra Kaushi, passed away on the 9th of March, Thursday. According to sources, the legendary actor known for his comedy roles in the entertainment industry, took his last breathe in the wee hours of Thursday, at Fortish Hospital, in Gurugram.
Getting into the details, the 66 year old actor suffered a heart attack, at the holi bash of Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi.
Anupam Kher and other Bollywood celebrities expressed grief and tweeted solidarity and condolences upon hearing the sudden demise of Mr. Satish Chandra Kaushik.
Mr. Kher tweeted a picture of the two and wrote, “I know ‘death is the ultimate truth of this world’ but never in my dreams had I thought that I would write this thing about my best friend while being alive. A sudden fullstop to our 45 years of friendship! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”
When Is Satish Kaushik’s last rites?
The last rites of Satish Chandra Kaushik would be held on Thursday afternoon. The funeral would be held after his postmortem, which is likely to be held at Deendayal Hospital after which his mortal remains will be flown down to Mumbai.
His last rites will be conducted in the city in the presence of his friends and family members.
Born on April 13, 1956, Satish Kaushik worked as an actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter.
