Hyderabad: Speculation is rife that the younger son of super star Nagarjuna, Akhil Akkineni is being engaged. Tinsel town is abuzz with the gossip that the star kid is planning to tie the knot soon but according to reports, Akhil is quoted saying, “You’ve heard I am engaged? Umm… Not yet… I’ve introduced the girl I’m seeing to my parents.”
The 22-year-old actor added, “She’s a family friend. I’ve known her for a long time. She’s very far removed from the public glare, so I’d like to keep her away from the media for as long as I can.”
“My parents are super chilled-out. But not all families are like mine. So some protocol has to be followed. You see, Telugu families are quite formal about certain things,” he said.
Looks like Akhil wants to keep his lady love away from the public attention as she is not from film background. It is learnt that she graduated form New York and is an upcoming designer. Buzz adds that their families have been friends from a very long time.
