Hyderabad: The long-awaited film Baahubali starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles finally hit big screens today. Directed by an acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, “Baahubali-The Beginning” opened in nearly 4,000 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film was released in all major languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. The epic drama is receiving good response from the audience.
India’s most expensive film also stars Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. Actors Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Sudeep will also be seen in supporting roles. It is heard from the audience that the film has reached the expectations and will remain as a benchmark in the Telugu film industry.
The multi-lingual drama is one of the most-anticipated releases of the year. Music director MM Keeravani is scoring tunes to the commercial entertainer. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is presenting the movie in Hindi.
