And it is confirmed – America’s Sweethearts have turned bitter! Angelina Jolie, long time love and wife of Brad Pitt, filed for divorce from the heartthrob. Brangelina is over!
The love story started back in 2005 when Brad Pitt separated from his then wife of five years, Jennifer Aniston. There had been first rumors going around of Jennifer being too focused on her job and not having enough time for each other. But then the headlines hit hard with the secret pictures of Brad Pitt canoodling with Angelina Jolie and we knew that there was more to “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”
But time went on and Jennifer healed and so did we. The world warmed up to the A-list celebs with their fetish for adopting orphaned children and soon their family grew not only to the six children they have right now but to the fans throughout the world. What with their frequent loving appearances on the red carpet, to their stand on LGBT rights– we fele in love with Brangelina. Stories were written about how strong their bond was and how much they loved each other. He couldn’t get enough of her and she blossomed under him.
But Hollywood has a bitter reality than the romantic films it makes. Divorce was filed by the leggy lass citing to the “strict parenting methods” of Brad. Angelina and Brad couldn’t see eye to eye on how to handle their children, mostly due to his temperament issues but also because of his substance abuse and alcohol problems. So Jolie had no other option but to file for divorce this year on 15th September. She is supposedly fighting for sole custody of the children with only visitation rights for the ”The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” star.
It is truly a sad time for the Jolie-Pitt fans. But this goes to show, you never know how things might turn out in the world of glitter. 12 years is still not long enough a time to say for sure who might stay and who might go away!
