Hyderabad: Tollywood comedian Ali stuck to headlines after making chauvinist comments on the lead actress Anushka Shetty. The Southern beauty is on a roll and has enough on her plate with many prominent projects. She rose to fame in the South with her elan and hard work. With the success of SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali – The Beginning“, the star took the ladder of fame in Bollywood as well.
During the audio launch of her much-talked-about forthcoming flick “Size Zero“, the comedian made unbelievable remarks about her physical structure. At the event, he called Anushka – a ‘Jalebi‘. He didn’t stop there, he even said that everybody likes to eat the jalebi. Not just that, Ali also made comments about her thighs.
Ali added that after watching the starlet in the blockbuster flick “Billa“, he became a fan of her. Anushka was seen wearing a bikini in the Prabhas starrer “Billa”. However, the actress took these comments on a light vein.
This is not the first time that Ali making such comments. Earlier, he faced severe criticism for making chauvinist comments on female actresses of the tinsel town. During the audio launch of film “S/O Sathyamurthy”, Ali spoke about actress Samantha and her midriff. However, the actress ignored them by saying that he made the comments in a ‘light vein’.
