Mumbai: Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone, who is working hard to carve a niche for herself in Hollywood, will be seen in a special role in the upcoming drama “Raabta”. The actress will sizzle in an item number in her friend Dinesh Vijan’s maiden directorial project “Raabta”, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in romantic lead roles.
Composed by Pritam, the song is expected to be a peppy number. Buzz says that the rehearsals will begin soon for the catchy track. If everything falls in place, the song will be shot on June 1 in Budapest. According to reports, “Deepika is Dinesh’s lucky mascot. When he shared the idea with her, she immediately came on board.”
Deepika was last seen in Sanjay leela Bhansali’s “Bajirao Mastani” opposite Ranveer Singh. Currently, she is awaiting the release of her debut movie in Hollywood, “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.”
