Kannada Film Industry actor Kala Tapasvi Rajesh died on February 19, Saturday at a private hospital in Bengaluru.
As per reports, he was hospitalized due to age-related ailments about a week ago.
Born in Bangalore on April 15, 1932, Rajesh had acted in more than 150 films as a lead actor in the 60s and 70s. Getting into details, Mr. Rajesh was born as Munichowdappa in Bengaluru in 1935. He developed an interest in theatre in his childhood and joined Sudarshana Nataka Mandali without the knowledge of his parents.
On the pretext of going for tuitions, Rajesh, identifying himself as Vidyasagar, got involved himself with the theatre group. He started working as a typist in a government office and went on to start his own theatre group called Shakthi Nataka Mandali.
Notably, his final rites will be performed at Vidyaranyapura residence in Bangalore. The mortal remains of Rajesh has been kept at his Vidyaranyapura residence to enable people to pay their homage till the evening.
The last rites would be conducted in the evening, today.
