After donning multiple hats of actor, producer, lyricist and singer Dhanush is now all set to add another feather to his cap – that of a director.
Dhanush is going to direct his first film “Power Paandi” with the famous seasoned actor Rajkiran in the lead. This comes as a true delight because Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, also started his directorial journey with this veteran actor with the hit film, “En Rasavin.”
The team will begin shooting for the film from today in Chennai. “It will be a fun and adventurous film. Prasanna has been roped in to play Rajkiran’s son. He has an offbeat role, too. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised,” said the spokesperson from the film.
Sean Roldan will be scoring the music while R. Velraj will be handling the lens as the Director Of Photography of the film. All that remains to be seen is whether Dhanush will himself play a part in his directorial debut.
