Superstar Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth has confirmed her separation from her industrialist husband Ashwin Ramkumar through her Twitter account on September 16th, 2016.
We have been hearing rumours that this couple was staying away from each other for a while. Now, the divorce process is happening. Confirming everything, Soundarya said news about her marriage ending is true. “We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy.” This clearly shows the couple is not staying together anymore but the divorce process did not start yet.
On the other hand, when media tried asking Ashwin Ramkumar about this he remained tight lipped and refused to comment.
Soundarya is very much active on social media posting pictures of her family and friends– but there weren’t any pics of her husband for the past few months. This is where people got the doubts that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks!
Fans of Rajinikanth are in shock learning about this divorce. Soundarya and Ashwin, dated each other for about four years before getting hitched in 2010, which was attended by high profile people from the film industry, politics and business. The couple have been blessed with a baby boy named Ved Krishna a year ago.

Coming to the work front, Soundarya has entered film industry as a graphic designer and later directed the motion picture “Kochadaiiyaan” in which we saw her dad and SuperStar Rajinikanth as the main lead.
