Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Mr. Perni Nani has met movie star Mohan Babu in Hyderabad on the 11th of February. The minister went to Mohan Babu’s house and discussed various issues related to the film industry.
According to sources, Mr. Nani explained the details of the Chiranjeevi delegation’s meeting with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Mohan Babu. It is known that film personalities met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on the 10th of February over the movie ticket price issue. The meeting was attended by megastar Chiranjeevi along with Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, director S.S. Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, and many other Tollywood celebrities. Speaking to the media after the meeting, they said the good news would come soon.
After the meeting, Mr. Chiranjeevi said, Chiranjeevi tweeted, “On behalf of everyone in the industry, I would like to thank the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who responded very positively, assuring the industry that he would be supportive in all respects. I hope the industry will officially hear the good news soon.”
It is to be noted, the YSRCP issued a Government Order (GO) announcing a new movie ticket portal. The YSRCP Government passed the order to set up a State-run website for the online sale of cinema tickets in both single and multiplex theatres. The decision to enter the business of movie tickets was taken to ensure corruption-free ticket selling and tax evasion from private companies. The sudden issued order of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government shocked the people of the Tollywood Industry and Cineplex and Multiplex businessmen. As per the new GO, the State Government would soon float a new online portal, selling movie tickets under the AP State Film, Television, and Theatre Development Corporation.
