Mumbai: There were reports in the B-Town stating that actor Nargis Fakhri is quitting Bollywood and India forever. But the actress refuted all such rumours. On Thursday, Nargis took to her official Twitter handle and said that she is in the United States on work and will return soon to promote her upcoming movie titled “Banjo”.
She wrote, “Lookin forward 2finishing my assignment in daUS &being back 2start promoting #Banjo in a few weeks!#noplanstoquit #allelsearebaselessrumours.”
Earlier, reports surfaced in media stating that Nargis Fakhri and her most alleged boyfriend Uday Chopra parted ways and he cancelled their wedding and this led the actress to flee to New York.
Later, Uday Chopra cleared the air with his Tweet. He wrote, “Ok so it had to come to this… @NargisFakhri and I are close friends and all the rumors that are doing the rounds have no basis in reality.”
