Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas Fans street brawl at Bhimavaram

A recent incident at Bhimavaram on September 2nd has shocked the otherwise calm town due to a major fight that broke out between Prabhas’s fans and Pawan Kalyan’s fans over removal of Flex posters put up celebrating Pawan Kalyan’s birthday by Prabhas’s fans.
The incident took place near a Padmalaya cinemas where fans of Pawan Kalyan have put up Flex posters wishing the star on his birthday. Apparently these posters were put up opposite Prabhas’s posters and it seems it didn’t go well with Prabhas’s fans and they have removed the other hero’s posters. Having seen this incident, Kalyan’s fans have gone wild and got Prabhas’s posters down and burnt them which has created a hostile environment with both the groups getting in to a fight and couple of ATMs around were damaged as a result.

The DSP of the Narsapuram, Ms. Sowmya latha intervened to control the situation and shooed the groups off in a bid to subside the issue. However, the next day Kalyan’s fans have taken up a bike rally on roads shouting slogans and removing all Prabhas’s posters on the way. We hear that there was 144 section also in place for a brief time in the area which didn’t stop them from agitating.
Movies are meant to be watched to get entertained and not to lead to dynasty wars. These wars have been prevalent in AP and Telangana states for a while and we keep hearing such situations between different fans associations every now and then. What is the need for fans to do this when their matinee idols have no such things happening between them? Watch movies as movies only and don’t politicize it else it’s doing mockery of themselves end of the day.
