Bollywood playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who has been making news recently for all his wrong reasons, is in the spotlight again for allegedly harassment a woman at Durga Puja celebrations.
An FIR has lodged against the singer after a 35 year old woman complaint the police in which she has accused the singer for touching her inappropriately and abusing and threatening during a concert of singer Kailash Kher on Thursday night.
According to the complainant, the incident happened at the Lokhandwala Durga Puja Pandal, of which the singer is an organizer. The complainant has alleged that she got into an altercation with the singer at the pandal, however the reason that led to the altercation is yet to be revealed.
The complainant’s statement has been recorded, reaction from the singer is awaited. Abhijeet has been booked for harassment and intentional insult and police might go and record his statement soon.
