After three days of Sridevi’s passing, there are a number of new developments in the incident. Yesterday shocking news emerged regarding megastar Sridevi’s demise. The forensic report revealed she accidentally drowned in the bathtub in Dubai. According to media reports in Dubai, the actor’s husband Boney Kapoor was called in for questioning but this has not been verified.
Indian envoy to UAE Navdeep Suri explained, “We are working with local authorities to ensure that mortal remains can be sent to India at the earliest. We are on the job.” He further added, “Our experience in similar cases tells us that it does take 2 (to) 3 days to complete processes.”
Her body was expected to arrive yesterday but was delayed. It will be sent for embalming today. Boney Kapoor found Sridevi unconscious in the bathtub. The actress was freshening up to go to dinner with her family. The actress was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi to attend a family wedding.
The case has been transferred to the Dubai Public Prosecution for the usual legal procedure. Boney Kapoor and the staff of the hotel should be questioned. The authorities will also look through Sridevi’s call logs for anything suspicious.
