Hyderabad: The release date of the long-awaited film “Rudramadevi“, starring Anushka Shetty in a lead role, has been announced. The makers have planned to release the film worldwide on June 26, 2015. “Rudramadevi” is set for a grand release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. On the official Facebook page, the team of “Rudramadevi” wrote, “Here’s the BIG News! #Rudhramadevi releasing on June 26th in Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam simultaneously!”
The 3D historic drama, “Rudramadevi” is one of the most looked-for releases in 2015. Directed by an acclaimed filmmaker Gunasekhar, the film has an ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menen, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa.
Actress Anushka Sharma, who carries female-oriented roles like a cakewalk, has been roped in to play the lead role as Rudramadevi, the queen of Kakatiya Dynasty. Anushka has done the film with elan and ease. Apart from her performance, Allu Arjun’s role as Gona Ganna Reddy is one of the highlights of the film.
Music director Ilaiyaraja composed tunes to the commercial entertainer. Ever Since the release of the official trailer and first look posters of Anushka and Allu Arjun, the movie became one of the most-anticipated films in Tollywood.
