Mumbai: Actor Shahid Kapoor is prepping to up to fulfill his daddy duties! The star couple Shahid and his darling wife Mira Rajput will welcome their first child in mid September. The soon-to-be-daddy Shahid is currently in Madrid for IIFA 2016. He said that he is taking a full-fledged paternity leave and wants to be around Mira during this important phase. Currently, Mira is in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
Speaking to a leading media house, he said, “I want to be around Mira during her pregnancy. This is my once in a lifetime opportunity or twice in a lifetime opportunity, maybe (laughs). I am taking a full-fledged paternity leave.”
Shahid further added, “I was almost 14 when my brother (Ishaan) was born. I was grown up enough to know what my mother went through during her pregnancy. So, I want to be around Mira.”
