Hyderabad: An acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli confirmed his next project with super star Mahesh Babu. At present, the director is busy with his much-talked-about upcoming film “Baahubali”, which is India’s biggest motion picture, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.
After the release of the magnum opus, Rajamouli will collaborate with Mahesh Babu. The project was announced a few years ago, but the movie was shelved due to few issues. Rajamouli said that he was supposed to work with Mahesh Babu but the project got delayed. He added that as soon as the second part of “Baahuabli” releases next year, they would start working on the new venture.
The film is expected to hit floors at the end of 2016, according to sources. The first part of the much-hyped film “Baahubali-The Beginning” is all set for a grand release on July 10. Rajamouli is expected to direct the second part of “Baahubali” and will start Mahesh’s project. The movie maker K.L. Narayana will produce this Mahesh-Rajamouli’s movie.
On the other hand, Mahesh will also complete shooting his upcoming film “Brahmotsavam”, being directed by Sreekanth Addala. Mahesh is also expected to complete untitled project with Puri Jagannadh before working with Rajamouli.
