Mr. S.S. Rajamouli directed RRR topped the IMDb list in movies. On the 14th of December, Wednesday, IMDb released its list of the 10 Most Popular Indian Films and Web Series of 2022.
The list of 2022 top films is led by RRR, starring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. It is to be noted, it recently RRR won many national and internal awards for its music, story and actors.
While Mr. S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR is in a top position, Vivek Agnihotri directed The Kashmir Files is the second movie on the list, followed by K.G.F. Chapter 2, Vikram and Kantara. The other movies in the top 10 list are Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Major, Sita Ramam, Ponniyin Selvan Part One and 777 Charlie.
The IMDb list 2022 of top 10 movies came as a shock to the Bollywood film Industry, as only one Hindi Film made it to the list. Notably, besides Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, none of the films in the top 10 are Hindi Bollywood make. The majority of films are in Tamil, which indicates that people across India are liking and appreciating the story, acting and directing of the Tamil film Industry, ruling the audience.
Meanwhile, in the web series category, Amazon Prime Video’s Panchayat tops the list.
