Mumbai: For the first in the Bollywood, adult-star-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone will be seen playing the dual role. It is a double feast for her fans as she will be seen in a dual role in her upcoming film “Mastizaade”, directed by Milap Zaveri. She will be seen playing the roles of Laila and Lily.
Till now, the actress was seen in bold characters in films – “Jism 2”, “Ek Paheli Leela” and “Ragini MMS 2”. Now she will be seen as a nerdy and attractive in “Mastizaade”.
According to a report in a leading media house Sunny said, “This is the first time that I am playing twins – one is nerdy, while the other is attractive. I found that to be a great idea as India sees me more as Laila, but I’m actually nerdy – like Lily is – in real life. Maybe that’s why Lily is closer to my heart because I got to act out a character who’s closer to my personality. It is challenging playing two roles in a film but I enjoyed it very much. I believe that is because of Milap (Zaveri) and Rangita (Nandy) my producer. They made shooting so much fun that I didn’t see it as a pain to be two characters in one day.”
The film also features Riteish Deshmukh and Tushar Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie was supposed to release on May 1, 2015, but the board had stalled the film due to high provocative content in it.
