Chennai: Starring Jayam Ravi in a lead role, “Thani Oruvan” is riding high at the box office and earned good reviews from the audience and critics as well. Though, the film had little occupancy on the opening day, the film is progressing well in packed houses with ongoing shows.
Filmmaker Mohan Raja‘s flick “Thani Oruvan” is a perfect mixture of all commercial elements including thrilling factors, romance, comedy and action sequences. The mind-racing thriller was released on 350 screens in Tamil Nadu and collected Rs. 4.50 crore on the first day. The movie makers are expecting that the picture would do a good business and will also mint good amount in worldwide market.
Apart from Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy played an important role in the thriller and actress Nayanatara was seen playing the romantic lead opposite Jayam Ravi in the picture. “Thani Oruvan” also features Thambi Ramaiah, Ganesh Venkatraman, Sricharan, Harish Uthaman, Saiju Kurup, Nassar and Mugdha Godse in supporting roles.
Hiphop Tamizha scored tunes to the action packed flick. The high energy and soulful numbers refreshes the mood of audience and stood as one of the highlights of the film.
