Hyderabad: Congress candidate Mohammed Feroz Khan is racing ahead in the election campaign at Nampally eyeing a huge victory. Feroz who is in the race at Nampally for fourth consecutive time at Nampally assembly is confident to register a landslide victory in 2023 elections.

Nampally assembly has great significance in Hyderabad city. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is leading the polls at Nampally for decades and sitting MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj won 2014 and 2018 assembly elections in a row and is aiming for a hatrick victory.

Congress candidate Feroz Khan is very familiar with each and every one in the constituency. Feroz contested 2009 elections from Praja Rajyam party (PRP) and secured second place. He contested from TDP in 2014 and secured 34.6% vote share and stood second. In 2018 he contested from Congress and again stood second with 34.98% votes.

With a determination to win, Feroz Khan focused on polls much early in 2018 and stayed connected with people round the clock. Feroz who strongly counters AIMIM has intensified his election campaign and focused on convincing the people to vote for Congress. He is exposing the core issues in the constituency and questioning sitting MLA Jaffer Hussain over his failures.

Feroz is conducting roadshows in the name ‘Choose Progress Vote for Congress’ across his constituency and requesting the voters to give him a chance for the redressal of long pending issues. He is confident about his victory and stated that Congress will form a government in Telangana in 2023.

BRS candidate Anand Kumar Goud and BJP candidate Rahul Chandra were considered as dummy candidates since they are not in a position to show any impact on voters.
