Justice Subhashan Reddy, Judge of the undivided Andhra Pradesh High Court, passed away, on the 1st of May, in Hyderabad.
At the time of his passing, Justice Reddy was 76 years old and was suffering from long affecting illness. When his condition got serious, Justice Reddy was admitted to the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) in Hyderabad.
Before servicing as the Judge for Andhra Pradesh, B. Subhashan Reddy served as the Chief Justice of Tamil Nadu High Court and Kerala High Court. He was also the Chairperson of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC.)
All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leaders and major politicians from Tamil Nadu are expected to visit Coimbatore to pay their respects to Justice Reddy.
Reddy is survived by three sons, out of which two are lawyers and one is an engineer.
The last rites of Mr. Reddy will be held in Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills, on the 1st of May.
K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, Indrakaran Reddy, the Law Minister, K. Laxman, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana and several other leaders expressed their condolences to Justice Reddy’s family.
