Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Member of Parliament (MP) candidate of the Indian National Congress (INC,) is the wealthiest candidate contesting the Lok Sabha elections in the 6th phase.
Jyotiraditya Scindia is the General Secretary in charge of the All India Congress Committee of Uttar Pradesh West and is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the Guna constituency, Madhya Pradesh.
The 6th phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held on the 12th of May 2019.
While filing nominations, Scindia declared assets to the tune of Rs. 374 crores, which makes him the richest candidate in the 6th phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) declared the names of the richest candidates contesting the 6th phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
After Mr. Scindia, Gautam Gambhir, the MP candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the East Delhi constituency, is 2nd on the list with assets worthRs. 147 crores.
The ADR report states, “There are 12 candidates who have not been analysed due to unavailability of their properly scanned and complete affidavits, at the time of making this report.”
A total of 7 states will contest 59 seats during the 6th phase of the Lok Sabha elections. All the polls for this phase will open on the 12th of May.
The major parties contesting for the Lok Sabha elections are the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
