Zain Nadella, the 26-year-old son of Mr. Satya Nadella, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft passed away, on the 28th of February, Monday morning.
Although Zain passed away on Monday morning (the 28th of February,) the news broke out the next day, the 1st of March, Tuesday. According to sources, Microsoft informed its executive staff in an email about the sudden demise of 26-year-old Zain, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, abnormal brain development, often before birth.
The mail sent to the Microsoft executive staff read, “Zain will be remembered for his eclectic taste in music, his bright sunny smile, and the immense joy he brought to his family and all those who loved him.” The message sent to Microsoft executives was shared by Mr. Jeff Spring, the CEO of Children’s Hospital, where Zain received much of his treatment since birth.
It is to be noted, in 2021 the Children’s Hospital joined with the Nadellas to establish the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences, as part of the Seattle Children’s Center for Integrative Brain Research.
