The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Members of Parliament (MPs,) on the 25th of May, will conduct a meeting to elect Narendra Modi as the leader of the Party.
The newly elected MPs of the NDA will elect Modi, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) officially during the NDA meeting, which will be held at the Central Hall of the Sansad Bhavan (Parliament House) around 5:00 P.M.
After the official election of PM Modi as the Prime Minister of India, he will take the oath as the PM, on the 30th of May.
The Union Cabinet Ministers also held a meeting on the 24th of May to begin the process of the dissolution of the 16th Lok Sabha to form the 17th Lok Sabha.
On the 24th of May, Mr. Modi met Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India and submitted his resignation which was accepted.
Although Narendra Modi is the declared Prime Minister candidate from the BJP, the official announcement will be made after the NDA meeting on the 25th of May
