A Telangana Assistant Sub Inspector was suspended for unprofessional behavior on Tuesday. The cop from Jogulamba Gadwal district was suspended after a video surfaced which showed him getting a back massage from a female Home Guard.
Superintendent of Police (SP,) M. S. Vijay Kumar said in a press release, “Since the behavior of ASI Hasan is against the principles of the police department, as per disciplinary action, he is suspended from duties.”
The ASI denied forcing the woman to give him a back massage. According to SP Vijay Kumar, Hasan was suffering from a severe backache and requested the Home Gaurd to massage his back which she willingly agreed to do.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, M. Stephen Ravendra issued the suspension order for ASI Hasan.
