A country like Iraq where the majority of the population is influenced by ISIS, seems to be posing a great threat in the coming future. ISIS has been preparing an army to rule the world under its brutal and inhumane constitution. An incident that recently took place in Iraq is an example set by the Iraqi soldiers to deter the residents from joining the ISIS clan.
Two ISIS militants were killed by the Iraqi army. The incident had taken place two weeks ago and their bodies were left to rot on the streets of Mosul, Iraq. The corpse of the militants were left to rot as the army wanted the residents of Mosul to have a look at their distorted body, grossly blackened by bombs and bullets. The sight of the corpse pose as a psychological weapon to prevent people of Iraq from joining sleeper cells which Iraqi officials say are massively distributed across the country!

A laborer named Youssef Salim who walks on the same path everyday recalled the brutality of ISIS. He said, “Do you know what smoking one, just one cigarette meant? Twenty five lashes in a public square where people were forced to watch you suffer. If your beard length did not meet their requirements, that was a month in jail and 100 lashes in public.” Youssef further said that he had no sympathy for the militants and supported the decision of the Iraqi soldiers of not moving the corpse from the street.

The Iraqi soldiers are waiting to take revenge for the death of thousands of Iraqi soldiers who were executed by ISIS. Asaad Hussein, an Iraqi soldier told the sources, “We leave them in the street like that so the dogs eat them. We also want the citizens to know there is a price for supporting terrorists.” Another soldier, Ibrahim Mohamed said, “We will leave the terrorists there. The message is clear to Iraqis, to keep them from joining or supporting Daesh (ISIS.) This will be your fate. The Iraqi army will finish you off.”

The Iraqi army has taken over half of Mosul after three months of fighting. It is now set to enter the western side of the City. The rage that the army holds for the Jihadis became crystal evident when Asaad Najif, an Iraqi soldier said, “We put it there because of the terrible things they did to Iraqis. The fate of any terrorist is clear. We will find you and kill you.”
