Kabul: At least 50 people were killed and more than 160 were injured on Saturday in a blast. The explosion took place when a suicide bomber hit a large demonstration by members of Afghanistan’s Hazara minority in Kabul.
According to reports, thousands of people from Afghanistan’s Hazara minority had gathered to demand changes to the route of a planned multi-million dollar power transmission line. More details are still awaited.
