Over the years, the media have commented and written about the power couple often. Now, Michelle Obama made a revelation about Barack Obama, that will shock some of you.
Speaking at an event in San Jose, California, Michelle Obama called Barack Obama an outfit repeater. Michelle revealed that Barack wore 1 tuxedo and 1 pair of shoes for eight years of the presidency. Michelle also said the president wore the same tuxedo for his entire two terms.
Michelle said, “This is the unfair thing. You talk about Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, no matter what we do, he puts the same tux.” She added, somewhat grimly, “Now, people take pictures of the shoes I wear, the bracelets, the necklace and they didn’t comment once that he wore the same tuxedo for eight years and same shoes.”
Michelle also revealed that Obama was quite proud that he would take no time in getting ready. She also revealed a cute and intimate moment. The former FLOTUS said, “He was too proud of it. He goes, ‘Mmm, I’m ready. I’m ready in 10 minutes. How long did you take?’ And I would go, ‘Get out of here.’”
This shows the former president is less concerned with what is on his back and more on what he did! Kudos to you Mr. Obama!
