Mumbai Terror Attack Mastermind Hafiz Saeed Speaks

Yesterday, the Jama’at-ud-Da’wah Chief and Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed addressed a Friday sermon at the Jamia Masjid Al Qadsia in Lahore, Pakistan.

Saeed, the founder of Lashkar e Taiba (LeT) described the U.S., as the biggest terrorist in the world. Saeed said, “Pakistan is facilitating the U.S., who is the biggest terrorist of the world.” The Mumbai terror attack mastermind further added lakhs of people lose their lives every year because of the U.S.

Saeed also criticized Pakistan for abiding by the orders of the United States and other countries. Saeed said Pakistan is aiding the U.S., by launching drones and taking lives of people in Afghanistan. The Pakistani politicians assume the U.S., is pleased with their actions.

Saeed was quoted saying, “The U.S. is putting the blame of its defeat in Afghanistan on Pakistan and allegedly grabbing USD 33 billion. Neither the Afghan Taliban and nor the Afghan Mujahideen are responsible for the defeat of the U.S. In Qatar, they (the U.S.) opened an office and asked the Taliban to settle their issues.”

Earlier this year, a Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meet was held in Paris from the 21st to 23rd of February. Many countries took part in the FATF meet to counter issues including combating terrorist financing and adopting a new counter terrorist financing plans.

Saeed said, “Those who went Paris to attend the FATF’s meeting stated that they have seized all assets of the Jama’at ud Da’wah and requested the FATF not to enter the name of Pakistan into their grey list. They admitted of obeying instructions of their bosses (the U.S.,) and pleaded them to release aid for Pakistan.”

Unhappy over Pakistan’s stand at the FATF meeting, Saeed further blamed India for pressuring Pakistan to act against Jama’at ud Da’wah.
