Pakistan: 30 killed, Many Injured In Blast At Civil Hospital In Quetta

Karachi: At least 30 people were killed and several others injured in a bomb blast at a hospital in Quetta in Pakistan’s restive southwestern Balochistan province followed by gunfire. Many of the injured are lawyers. It is also heard that unidentified men opened fire after the blast.

As per reports, the explosion took place when president of Balochistan Bar Association (BA) Advocate Bilal Anwar Kasi was shot dead in the provincial capital. He was killed by unidentified assailants. According to police and rescue officials, the bomb exploded as lawyers brought Balochistan Bar Association’s President Bilal Kasi, who was gunned down to the hospital.
