Saudi Welcomed Over 2.5 Million Syrians

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday that they have received 2.5 million Syrians since the beginning of Syrian crisis in 2011.
The migrated Syrians have not been treated as refugees, instead they have been given the freedom to move across the country, foreign ministry stated.

The Syrians have given residency permits, which will indeed give them the citizen rights to receive free medical care and other allowances, such as to join school and universities.
According to the 2012 Royal Decree instructed the public schools to accept Syrian students. The government statistics shows that the public school system has accepted more than 100,000 Syrian students.
The aid provided by Saudi Arabia to Syrians with the total of $700mn. Saudi Arabia’s announcement came as the migrants’ crisis in Europe deepens and the world urges the Gulf states which will increase deal with the more number of Syrian refugees who are fleeing their home country.
