Stormy Daniels filed a lawsuit against the U.S., President Donald Trump for trying to silence her. The former lady of the night, claimed Trump’s lawyer took drastic steps to ensure she did not speak about her alleged relationship with the president.
Daniels filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles that names Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen. The lawsuit states Cohen attempted “to silence Ms. Clifford (real surname of Stormy,) through the use of an improper and procedurally defective arbitration proceeding hidden from public view.”
Earlier, Stormy Daniels publicly claimed she had a close relationship with Trump. This claim was followed by allegations that Cohen paid Daniels $ 130,000 before the presidential election.
According to the lawsuit, the non disclosure agreement (NDA) between Trump and Daniels was never signed by the president. The NDA has the signatures of just Stormy and Trump’s lawyer Cohen. The lawsuit goes on to say the NDA is null and void as it misses the main applicant’s signature.
The suit details the relationship between Stormy and Trump that began in 2006 and went on till 2007. The complaint released by Stormy’s lawyer clarifies the NDA was signed and termedas a hush agreement. The agreement was signed by Stormy and Trump’s lawyer 11 days before the presidential elections. The NDA also mentions the money given to Daniels to not disclose her relationship with Trump.
