Munich police have confirmed shots fired at Olympia Einkaufszentrum shopping centre has been identified as a German-Iranian teenager. The 18-year-old doesn’t have any criminal records. The gunman killed himself after firing nine civilians.
The Munich Police also requested people not to speculate and said “that would help us a lot” in a tweet. Munich Police’s official Twitter handle has been tweeting in four different languages – German, French, Turkish and English.
