Sangareddy: Raghunandan Rao, BJP leader and Medak MP candidate, has raised questions regarding the apparent forgiveness of officers involved in the phone tapping controversy. Speaking at a media conference held at the party office in Sangareddy, Raghunandarrao demanded transparency and accountability in the matter.

“Revanthreddy’s arrest through telephone tapping in 2014 raises serious concerns. It is imperative to identify the officials responsible for authorizing such actions. Additionally, questions arise regarding the foreign travels of Srinatheddy’s office staff, funded by the previous DGP’s office. The procurement of phone tapping equipment also warrants scrutiny,” Raghunandarrao asserted.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the lack of action against certain officials, Raghunandarrao emphasized the need for an impartial investigation. He called for the involvement of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and named key political figures, including KCR, Harish Rao, and Venkatarami Reddy, in the inquiry.

The demand for accountability in the phone tapping scandal reflects growing concerns over ethical governance and institutional integrity in Telangana.
