Amaravati: Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is prioritizing the prevention of sea erosion along Andhra Pradesh’s coastline. An agreement has been signed between the AP Coastal Management Zone Authority and the National Center for Coastal Research (NCCR) to tackle land erosion caused by wave action.

Deputy CM Kalyan released a comprehensive Coastal Area Management plan prepared by the NCCR. He emphasized the government’s commitment to mitigating sea erosion risks and recently reviewed erosion issues along the Uppada coast with experts. Kalyan directed officials to identify erosion hotspots along the state’s coast and develop strategies to protect them. Additionally, plans are underway to select suitable locations for new ship docks and fishing harbors.
