The Indian National Congress (INC,) on the 22nd of March, released its seventh list of candidates contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Out of the 35 candidates included in the list, 4 candidates will contest from Chhattisgarh, 3 from Jammu and Kashmir, 5 from Maharashtra, 2 from Odisha, 8 from Tamil Nadu, 1 from Telangana, 9 from Uttar Pradesh and 1 from Puducherry.
As of now, the INC has announced a total of 181 candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections, starting from the 11th of April and continuing till the 19th of May.
The major parties contesting the Lok Sabha elections are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the INC.
The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May, following which, it will be decided, which of the two Parties, the INC or the BJP, will form the next Government of India.
