K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) will begin roadshows and public rallies in Telangana, ahead of the Telangana Lok Sabha Elections.
KTR will hold a three day campaign, scheduled to begin from the 4th of April and continue till the 6th of April. He will cover several areas of Hyderabad, Telangana.
On the 4th of April, KTR will conduct a roadshow in the Amberpet and Musheerabad constituencies, whereas on the 5th of April, he will cover Secunderabad and Sanathnagar.
The three day campaign will conclude on the 6th of April with a roadshow covering the constituencies of Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad and Nampally in Telangana.
After concluding the three day campaign, on the 9th of April, Mr. Rao will address public meetings at Chevella and Malkajgiri.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI,) the 9th of April is the last day to conduct campaigns and public rallies in the States contesting the Lok Sabha elections in the 1st phase.
The Lok Sabha elections are divided into 7 phases and are scheduled to begin from the 11th of April and continue till the 19th of May.
Telangana will contest for 17 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to be held in the 1st phase, on the 11th of April.
The major parties contesting the Telangana Lok Sabha elections are the TRS, the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
The results of the Telangana Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
